Know what you’re walking into.
Ultravocal turns fragmented court information into justice intelligence that helps families stay ready for what comes next.
Starting with families navigating family court.
Are you trying to understand what you’re facing, decide what to ask, or figure out what needs attention first?
- Understand what I’m walking into
- Prepare better questions
- Figure out what matters now
- Find qualified support
These are shortcuts. Nothing you choose is recorded.
What would you want to know before a life-changing decision?
What am I walking into?
What should I understand before I make a decision?
What questions should I be asking?
What actually needs my attention today?
What could this process cost me?
Who is qualified to help me?
What happens when the information exists, but you cannot easily find it, understand it, or use it?
Court information can be spread across:
- institutions
- professionals
- documents
- public records
- lived experience
At the same time, families may be managing:
- work
- children
- safety
- money
- health
- relationships
- daily life
The deeper problem is an information and power imbalance.
Families can enter consequential legal systems with much less institutional knowledge than the professionals and institutions shaping what happens next. That gap can make it harder to ask good questions, weigh choices, and know where to turn.
What Ultravocal is being built to help with
Step 1
Understand
Find information and understand where it came from.
Step 2
Prepare
Identify questions, gaps, and issues that may need qualified input.
Step 3
Stay ready
Keep important information, timing, and preparation from becoming something you have to carry entirely in your head.
Step 4
Connect
Reach appropriate human expertise and support where needed.
How do you know whether information deserves your trust?
- Where did it come from?
- How current is it?
- What is known?
- What is still uncertain?
- Who should you verify it with?
Trust is earned, not assumed.
Credible sources
Ultravocal is being designed to distinguish sourced information, community experience, professional expertise, and uncertainty.
Private by design
Private user information is being designed around data minimization and end-to-end encryption.
Designed for high-stress situations
Ultravocal is being designed by and for people navigating high-stress situations.
What would help you feel more able to act?
Ultravocal is being built to help you make sense of what is happening and feel more able to act. It helps you find information, see what is clear and what is still uncertain, prepare better questions, and reach people who may be able to help. Trust is earned, not assumed.
You know your life and lived experience in ways Ultravocal cannot. Qualified professionals bring expertise Ultravocal does not have.
Ultravocal does not:
- predict legal outcomes
- replace a lawyer
- replace a therapist
- tell anyone what legal decision to make
- guarantee that information is complete or current
How much information works for you today?
Examples of what we are designing for:
- Keep it simple
- Give me more context
- Reduce movement
- Make text larger
- Read this aloud
- Help me focus on one thing
Customize the interface, not the person.
Ultravocal is being designed to give you control over information density, motion, text size, contrast, captions, transcripts, language, input, and reminders. Several of these are still in development.
Where are you in the process?
- I’m trying to understand my options
- I may take legal action
- I’m already in court
- I don’t have a lawyer right now
- Something feels urgent
Ultravocal is being designed to help you find information about legal aid, court self-help, advocates, and other qualified resources that may be available.
Starting with family court.
Family court is where Ultravocal is beginning. The underlying problem is broader: people routinely enter consequential legal systems without the institutional knowledge available to the systems themselves.
