About
Built from lived experience and years of community work.
Ultravocal is Afrocaribbean Queer-Founded. It grew from Balla-Gabriele’s lived experience of family court and from years of community education and accountability work.
Why Ultravocal exists
Families can enter consequential legal systems with much less institutional knowledge than the professionals and institutions shaping what happens next. That gap can make it harder to ask good questions, weigh choices, and know where to turn.
Ultravocal exists to help close that gap, starting with families navigating family court. The details of Balla-Gabriele’s own case are private and are not shared here.
Lived and domain experience
Balla-Gabriele brings firsthand experience of family court. That experience shapes the questions Ultravocal asks about what families may need. It does not replace research, and it does not replace professional expertise.

Equipped & Resourced
Equipped & Resourced is community education and accountability work led by Balla-Gabriele. It is a separate body of work from Ultravocal.
People who take part in Equipped & Resourced are not Ultravocal users, and their participation is not Ultravocal user research.
Ultravocal product validation
Ultravocal is building and validating V1. Validation means learning from the people the product is meant to serve and from qualified professionals, and being honest about what is still unknown.
The product is in development. This website describes what Ultravocal is being designed to do.
Afrocaribbean Queer-Founded
Ultravocal is Afrocaribbean Queer-Founded. That perspective shapes who the company designs for and how it thinks about access, safety, and trust.
Stay ready for what comes next.
We’re building and validating the first version of Ultravocal with the people it is meant to serve.
